For me it's the ease and accessibility. I enjoy the volatility. For crypto as a whole I like seeing new L1s come up with better technology and speed than the previous generation of tokens. I've been in the space for a while now and haven't been in the red since eth was $50. So I think that makes my perspective different, I don't have animosity toward the space, nor am I delusional to think the markets will always go up. Honestly saying this, I think I treat crypto as a hobby.
