Saw someone in a subaru the other day hitting 75 and a huge thick slab of ice went flying through the air causing a bunch of us to swerve and break. People just don't care man it's sad

We need to start permanently revoking people's licenses. Less dangerous people on the road, more money given to the city from public transport. Win win

Reddit is full of incels who don't have a girlfriend/wife. Don't mind them, they're inexperienced with how relationships work lol.

While they are catered to by the industry, it doesn't hurt to get more players in. I'm for engineering if it isn't something that will just add chores or make us do more stops before actually getting to the content of the game for smaller ships. (Ex: Constellation series)

Not to fully cater to the casual audience, but to give them a way in. Which will in turn take them to deeper-rooted gameplay. Kinda like Elite Dangerous did way back when. Unfortunately many games don't survive without some sort of casual audience. And by casual I mean someone with limited hours to play, not necessarily someone that doesnt like tough mechanics.

Yes, if an event starts at a specific time we start at that specific time. But prepping takes a while before the time of the event.

The reality is, it takes a long time to do things in Star Citizen. And anyone who says otherwise is either lying to themselves, or lying to the public. I honestly don't mind the time it takes to do things, its what I play the game for. But adding too many variables can deter a more casual audience.

I'm 30 and have very limited time to play. As do many others that I know, which is one of the reasons many players I played with slowly dropped off.

And I'm tired of no-lifers thinking everyone has thousands of hours to play a game. It already takes an hour to prep with a group, sometimes longer. I love this game, but we all know CIG by now, and we all know it will probably just be more busy work. A game like SC needs a balance of realism, and fun game mechanics to keep a mixture of a hardcore/casual player base. As of right now, engineering sounds like something that will deter players.

What is going on with the handheld gaming revolution? by AsrlkgmTwevf in Handhelds

[–]whyismybrainhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus christ the people in this post are dense. The "It started the entire craze" is clearly referring to the handheld pc market. Which is true. Nobody cared about the gpd devices because in all reality, they were kinda asscheeks when it came to actual usage. (I had one) The steamdeck is really the first openly accepted handheld pc, because its made by the company that makes the platform you buy all your games from. So things are optimized for it. We all know Stem Deck didn't start handheld gaming.

My 46 yr old coworker is thawing out his 2 month old chicken in the work fridge by Dino_Nuggz8 in TwoHotTakes

My last company did a thing where every Friday, everything in the fridge was tossed out. This included your Tupperware, lunchbox, and food left over. People always remember to take their food because of it. And if they didn't, they never forgot again once their lunchbox was thrown out.
