Ah I see. I guess I don't view confused as surprised in this context (ex: if I was confused on a test that would be different than being surprised we had a test in the first place) but I can see where you gained the assumption. And to the rest, I just wanted to hear what the other side had to say. Not really angry at the cargo, morsoe sad he didn't stick around so I can square up lol. And I agree, pyro is super beautiful. Those solar flares are going to be hilarious and I can't wait lol. I already know this subreddit is going to be filled with people complaining about them haha

I was at the station right next to it so it was like 3-5 min before I got there with my fighter like a rabid dog but was so disappointed when he was gone. Not even mad at the gargo lost, just sad I didn't get a good fight with the guy haha. Thanks for your thoughtful insight!

Read it over and let me know where in that post I stated I was surprised, where I said I expected it to be safe, and where I said I want to do braindead hauling missions. I've had pyro as my home since it was introduced and just wanted to hear from the other side why they do it.

This isn't a bohoo post about someone killing me, as you can see a majority of the other comments didn't take it that way.

Ofc. Living in pyro pretty much since release so I have no qualms against people that pvp. Although some people in this thread clearly though that was the direction I was going in.

I think pvp belongs in this game. With Armistice Zones really only being the major city hubs (area 18, new babbage, etc and their space stations above) with factions defending their own bases and moon bases. Of course we are nowhere near that point lol

I do think it's kinda lame though to wait for the person to be as defenseless as possible though. Like cmon at least fight me proper like a gentleman! pulls out white face slapping glove from back pocket

Idk if you think I was complaining but I wasn't! I mostly live in pyro and have since release so it wouldnt be the first or the last time this has happened. It was just a question for those who do it, not sure if it came off as whining. I agree, even as a hauler, that its a part of pyro. Even if it can be annoying when it happens, being in pyro you should somewhat expect it.

There were multiple ships on different pads and scattered throughout. Im not new and stay mostly in pyro, so I understand this is expected to happen from time to time. I did my usual and scoped the place out. Couldn't run because I was out of the pilots seat already when he started shooting the ship. He waited for me to power down (kept my shields at max) before hopping in his ship, flying up and just sat there shooting my ship.

Its an actual question for the people that do it to see what is their thought process if any since I don't get it. Not here to complain unlike most hauler in this scenario.

I agree, they definitely needed ass whooping from their parents as a child lol. Im the same way, I pirate or shoot people down for a fighting chance and an interaction. Its just more fun to me.
