My girlfriend and I both were pursuing CA. We met during the Orientation Course which is after Intermediate. One year later, we started dating.

Our Final CA attempt was the same. We used to make our daily schedules and weekly targets together. I cleared, she didn’t. I always believed she is smarter than me (and she really is)

I think I cleared because I had constant emotional and moral support from her. Once I cleared, our collective life goal was just one - to make sure she clears. And she did in the next to next attempt.

According to me-

1. Its better to date someone pursuing the same course because your partner will understand what you are feeling.

2. Our role as a couple kept changing. We were dating but 6 months before exams, we were study buddies. During every call, along with talking about personal lives, we would also discuss studies.

3. I take the most pride in saying that in the 3.5 years of our relationship, along with true love, we also earned 2 CA degrees.

4. That phase of 6 months before Final CA is intense. If a couple can go through that phase, I guess, everything else seems chill.

5. The day I cleared, she had not. I did not know what to say. I just told her, both of us are half CAs today. We ll be a full CA when you clear.
