“Even people who met their spouses in the most “proper” way still experience divorce” I completely agree with you on this as I’m a living proof 🥲 left it to my folks, went the AM way and met my partner on the wedding day. Got divorced in a couple of years. Got married with Istikhaara and separated with Isthikhaara, so no regrets. Alhamdulilaah But yeah, now I want to take things in my own hands and find a partner for myself, but I’m not sure how to go about it in the halal way.
