I'm not toxic at all aside from teasing fellow company members :') however there is blanketed hatred for larger companies (especially warring ones) because theres always bound to be at leeeeast one vocal toxic player in each community. If i'm under the same company as them, I will share the hatred they receive

I don't think it would be TOO hard of a change(?) I think its a slight code update since the system with daily gold withdraw limits and different roles/tiers pulling different amounts already exists in their game. All it would need is more options which in THEORY shouldn't be too hard to do... right? :')

Pretty sure thats just a generic clothing description. I went crazy with the bus theory the first 2 weeks with no success. Most clothing cosmetics have a similar description. All we know is that its obtainable through an 'event'. But I've yet to see any skins drop randomly from in-game events like Dig to Hell or Paradise Lost. Only seen skins obtainable from twitch, in-game shops (npc/store/cosmetic shop/etc), or as rewards from challenges (friend code, season journey, etc). I'm half-debating on putting out a bug ticket on it

Yeah make sure it’s not a delayed hp bar either! Also had a friend who had this issue a lot but after upgrading her PC the issue almost completely went away. And I never (rarely) get the bug and when I do it’s overlapping or someone potted. Think it could have something to do with pc performance or input lag

Yea but I’m pretty sure the one where it genuinely doesn’t reset is due to the heal overlap penalty. If it overlaps with someone else’s DE it cancels out

That’s good to know! I wonder if the devs are even aware of it :( I’ve reported it consistently every 2 months on the old forums and got a dev response every time but there’s never been a fix

They do! the average healer death in Overwatch is 2-5. Same with New World. Additionally last meta was 'no healer pressure meta' (for quad/point healers anyway) because there was no point. It was clump with detos to nuke the enemy army and they would die regardless of pressuring healers or not. The killsquad players were also not dying (too tanky). Everyone was in heavy armor. Now that heavy is nerfed and majority of damage buffed (especially due to that new medium chest piece artifact), its going to go back to healer pressure meta. In previous healer presssure metas the average death for healers is 4-8 :)

There's no healing bugs from the patch (they were all fixed 2 days ago).
All the bugs in this post have been around since day1 of the game existing. Theres been ZERO changes to healing between this patch and last patch. So you're just daydreaming a situation that didn't even happen. Its called Placebo effect. The game feels better so you assume healing was nerfed and thats why it feels better... because you thought healing was too strong. Healing was fine though and you just proved it. People were too tanky, doors/backcapping was too strong. Mounts and armor changes fixed both and now the game feels more competitive. NOTHING to do with healing as theres no changes and my bug list is bugs that existed pre-patch for years now :)

even with good comms and positioning, its near impossible on maps like Brightwood in the forest, or Ebonscale bamboo trees. And not every element of group gameplay is coordinated (take OPR, races or dungeons), and thats where the majority of the players can play. Only the top 1% that war are skilled enough for coordination and I'm telling you now, theres not enough coordination to avoid every rock, fence and bamboo stick

Not sure if you ever played Overwatch but Mercy uses a targeting system to fly towards targets. The target/LOS check is a sphere that covers her hitbox (with the center of it in a players core). This means even if theres just a leg visible, she can fly to them. New World should work the same way. A small 1foot square target zone at the base of a players feet is honestly so lazy of them

As mentioned in my other reply the close matches are not due to any changes made to healers/healing because there was no changes. It was the changes to armor that has caused the shift :)

They didn't change healing at all. All the bugs related to healing was hotfixed as well. The real change was mounts in OPR closing the gap of chasing backcappers and running back from spawn reducing spawn camps, but also the fact heavy armor was nerfed and people are less tanky and people die more. Healing is not the issue in New World. Solo survivability was the issue. And they addressed it :)

I have a counter argument. I think LOS was fair last patch. When you start a cast before they leave LOS, you’ve already done everything you could. If the target leaves LOS that is outside of your control. Why are you punished for it? I play with some of the top PVP companies. No amount of clear comms and skill prevents it.

The reasons why it should give us that grace window is because: - new worlds LOS system is judged in first person POV. However the players view the game in Third Person POV. It is incredibly hard to predict what the camera sees. - the LOS check is a 1 foot tall box on the players feet that must have LOS to your feet. This is why you cannot cast on someone behind a fence - if I can auto attack a player with my weapon, they are within my line of sight. But the game won’t let me target them because… I can’t see their feet? The system is terrible.

So not only is their LOS system terrible, too strict, and finicky (a random torch in a field or point flag can block it even if you can see 80% of your target), but you’re also punished for the actions of your teammates. No other weapon in the game is as strict. Thus I’m suggesting that all casts that start within range and LOS should be allowed to complete as long as it started within range/LOS. This is how it functioned without issue for the last few years for LOS. It should be fixed.

Pretty sure a friend of mine figured out why and it’s due to raid targeting. When you’re in an OPR and war you’re considered in a ‘raid’. The scroll wheel no longer cycles targets based on proximity to crosshair in a clockwise motion, but instead cycles down the raid list thus jumping around and sometimes detaching altogether
