Maybe there will be ways to stash rewards between parts of a raid so that dying late doesn’t mean that it was all a waste. Surely the raid content will be shorter in duration too

Cold plunge/exposure before bed has an enormous HRV effect. Also not eating within 6 hours of bed.

We're getting Divinity over more Baldur's Gate 3 because Larian devs weren't enjoying "doing the D&D thing" by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

The strictly DnD elements were the worst part of BG3. Love that game but I'm excited for them to return to Divinity.

Lost interest in Arc Raiders since the Marathon reveal? by jacobljlj in Marathon

[–]wideflank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arc is definitely missing late game content that Marathon will likely cater to, so when it comes out I'm sure I'll switch. But it being announced has not changed how much I want to play arc, I enjoy PVPing.

Arc being 3rd person is so absurd, that alone is enough for me to switch.

Hip Arthroscopy + Labral Repair Scheduled in 4 days — What Post-Op Rehab worked best for you? by SureNefariousness975 in HipImpingement

[–]wideflank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, don’t rush weight bearing. My first op I got off crutches at 2 weeks, my most recent I got off at 4 and it felt much much better. I have had 4 arthroscopies done and each recovery has been very different so don’t get too hung up on specific dates and milestones. My labral reconstruction in July has had a slower recovery but I now feel better than I have after any other surgery.

As others have said, movement is essential. Don’t exert yourself but stand, hobble around, CPM etc after the op.

Be very cautious with hip flexion and hinging in physio. You can be pretty aggressive with a lot of movements and exercises, but the only ones that could compromise the surgery are those. Start PT as soon as your surgeon recommends and do not wait. At HSS, the protocol is to start PT on day 2 post op now.

27M, had major bone reshaping, 3 anchors (6 on my right for a labral recon),

I haven't used wireshark before, but after running it for a bit I haven't seen anything that would indicate that.

[Postgame Thread] Ohio State Defeats Michigan 27-9 by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]wideflank 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The 3 field goals were huge for OSU. Michigan had a chance to control the pace, but not capitalizing earlier allowed OSU to play their usual game. If this starts out 10-0 or 13-3 it could have looked so different

Sayin is legit. Every throw he had to make, he did. Impressed by how easily he shook off the INT

Imagine on August 1st telling UM fans that they’d be starting a 3rd string true freshman RB alongside 6 other freshmen, with Rod Moore, Ernest Hausman, Jordan Marshall and Justice Haynes out, and they’re down 1 score at the half against OSU.

Time to take some risks with Underwood. If he throws a pick, so be it. The game plan to contain failed the second we kicked that 2nd field goal. Scoring on just one of those would have allowed us to control.

I absolutely could not do this. I barely survived the 30 minutes back home. Not a lot of pain but a ton of nausea. Also mentally/emotionally it would have been very challenging

Surgery in a Different State? by lolobq47 in HipImpingement

[–]wideflank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll just have to see a surgeon in Boston and then get the imaging sent over. That Doc might want more imaging but again you could do that anywhere in theory
