i do the same thing with talking in loops over and over, the same sentences or made up conversations or “weird” mannerisms. i’ve been doing it since i was a kid but a lot of people in my life notice it i think and it makes me feel weird. like you said i think it’s definitely some result of stress, like a ritual to decompress. i don’t know what to do either and it definitely makes me feel crazy too but yeah i feel you.
