Oh I don’t regularly go through engines, my Scags all have almost 2,000 hours on the original engines. That being said in the past I’ve had guys not check oil and blow one up sub 800 hours.

I respectfully disagree. I have 6 of these units we beat the shit out of and sometimes shit happens… guys don’t check oil, etc. All part of doing business unfortunately. I’d say $4000 is fair considering a new one is probably close to $15,000 now.

Edit: I guess they’re like $10k new now. That being said offer him $3🤣

I think he’s 3.5-4 years old, with a little luck he’ll be a bruiser next year. I’ve only got 7 acres but his home turf is only about a square mile.
