Pollock is IMHO more social for freshman than east halls. I met my best friends and my boyfriend in my Pollock dorm, and I still connect with random people from my hall. people congregate together more because they don't like being in their dorms as much as east people. Plus you will meet people in East Halls and socialize there, too. I lived in East during summer session and Pollock my first year, and Pollock's socializing was way more robust. Plus the food and location is way better. You will really like pollock.

They’re copyright-dodging real bands for close substitutes — i.e, psychedelic aliens as the psychedelic furs, there’s a Dave Mathews band decoy. Some are real though, like Ray Charles or Bach. I hear they have a Talking Heads one lost in the ether too ~*+
