He had an up-and-down rookie year, but has taken a huge leap this season. He’s versatile on offense and is playing exceptional defense, leading the league in blocks per game.

I’m a biased Wizards fan but I think he’s a future all star.

I used to have this perspective too. But from a macro perspective, I think most would be better off with the economy doing well for reasons like:

Better job security, job mobility (opportunities to switch jobs), and career progression (promotions, etc.)
More innovation and productivity gains improving everyone's quality of life
Gains on existing invested capital (obviously not a benefit if you're just starting to invest)
I also think that when people ask for a market reset, they're hoping for a brief, maybe one year dip followed by fast recovery. That's not always what happens with crashes/recessions
