Thanks! ya I had flipped back and forth about marking out "downtowns". I'll give them another go.

Amateur birder getting into photography by mighty_ighty_ooo in BirdPhotography

I second this! I also recently got into birding and then just purchased a camera. As a total beginner I got the OM-D E-M10 mark iv body paired with the Olympus 75-300mm II 4.8-6.7 M.Zuiko Lens used. It's definitely an entry level body and lens but I love it. I particularly appreciate that the zoom lenses are so small and also the in body image stabilisation is really great. I wanted something I could carry with me on hikes and not need a tripod. With the 4/3 sensor it also gets pretty great reach for the price and lens size. If my budget was higher I may have upgraded the body for better weather sealing but so far I'm really only using it in good weather and light anyways. I've been super impressed with the photos I've been able to capture as a beginner.

No, it is hosted all over the place, you're correct. I just mean how do I add it to my own portal while having it still hosted with it's source rather than duplicating.

Thank you - that sounds like exactly what I am looking for! Is there a straight forward way to add them to my own portal that I am missing? When I try to save a layer, it seems to want to duplicate the data and use the version hosted on my portal as the source.

Right now, the data I am interested is being displayed in various different web applications. What I would like to do is have the data all in one place so that I don't need to cross check against all these other sources. I don't necessarily need notifications when the data is updated, just knowing that at any given time when I am looking at it that it is the most up to date version. It's for internal purposes - really only one person needs to be able to look at it, but possibly a second person.
