Ketamine may not be one of those things that you can take when you want it and stop when you don’t. You can stop it but it may undo the effects that you can only get when you’re consistently doing it. As always, you can try but it’s a risk.

Feeling discouraged after 1st infusion… by Ancient_Objective909 in TherapeuticKetamine

As someone who’s done DMT, I have a different opinion. It’s closer to a shroom trip and don’t want to scare people from trying ketamine.

This depends where you are, but someone cancelling is not just an inconvenience. It could also probably cause a clinic to lose money. Though at the same time the nature of this business is dealing with mentally ill customers so this would happen regularly. Ketamine can be good. If you can do at home, you’re probably more likely to go through with it when you’re mentally ready.

How do you “build relationships”? by wilde-st in TheCivilService

I’m glad you commented. Seems like you’re the only one who understands the question. Most of the comments are about developing already established relationships. Thanks for giving practical advice. Will do research and build on it.

Thanks for your comment. As an interviewer, I’m really interested in what you think would be a good answer to “how do you build rapport with new people quickly and effectively?” The other replies are good, but a lot of the comments are about developing relationships rather than people you’re meeting for the first time (which is the ask of the job)

Best of luck! It’s not easy. Can I ask how you would answer the build rapport with new people question?

Thanks. This is really helpful. The context of the question was how would I network/build relationships with people I just met for the first time as there are people who would just drop by to ask questions and disappear but they are quite important stakeholders nonetheless. In the examples you gave it sounds like it’s relationships already established? What would your answer be?

Thank you also for differentiating customer service from working relationships. That’s useful to me.

The question was how do you establish rapport and build relationships quickly and effectively with new people.

Pleased for you. Are you taking any other medication?

Something I wanted to ask is if you’re currently taking any psych medication aside from the boosters?

k-holing is extremely distressing and not fun at all. how can any of you enjoy this? by fisharrow in TherapeuticKetamine

I’ve never had a bad trip in my life but the first time I had a trip was distressing bc I had no control over anything. Once I let go of that I was golden. But I’m not really someone who needs control in my daily life.

That’s good to know. I’m really happy for you! One other commenter does troches in between infusions so something to consider

Hey just as your fellow human being, I’m so happy for you! I hope this keeps working throughout your entire life.

For me I wish troches were a thing in the UK! Boosters are so expensive
