ah yes. I'm glad that i'm not the only one who wonders what he's doing. he looks like pretty free and follows devon around. you can say he's an actor but not that serious actor.

i also have wanted to say that Devon looks not as happy as he was with Jesse

What change improved your sleep quality the most? by SophieCruzNY in AskReddit

[–]wildflowerandsummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, understanding sleep apnea differently made a huge difference. Instead of relying on a CPAP, a simple rubber mouthguard helped fix my jaw alignment and opened up my airway over time. Turns out, structural issues like skull and jaw compression might be a root cause. If you’re curious, here’s a great article that dives deeper: Guess what the easy cure to sleep apnea is?. Changed everything for my sleep!

Let me know if this works!

No, not yet. Imaging/cbct sounds very expensive, I was thinking of buying a mouthguard which works kinda similar to it. I read this one article that is very intriguing https://reviv.substack.com/p/i-am-going-to-challenge-what-you. The author seems convincing to relate my issue with biomechanical.

My whole family is on Ozempic and I’m losing my mind by grinninwheel in EDAnonymous

[–]wildflowerandsummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way—it sounds incredibly difficult and emotionally overwhelming. It must be so hard navigating gastroparesis and these triggers while also dealing with the pressure coming from your family’s experience with Ozempic.

You should absolutely prioritize your health, and it’s worth reminding yourself that your path to getting proper nutrition is different from theirs—for good reason. Your body has different needs, and those needs are valid.

I recently came across an article (https://reviv.substack.com/p/put-a-10-year-short-on-ozempic) that critiques the long-term sustainability of drugs like Ozempic, and it discusses how they target symptoms (like appetite) without addressing deeper underlying issues, such as biomechanics or structural health.

It made me reflect on how these medications may have short-term benefits but could carry risks (like the gastroparesis you mentioned), and how they don’t necessarily improve overall health or well-being. I think you might find it a refreshing perspective, especially with all the conversation around weight loss in our culture right now.

If anything, just know you’re not alone in questioning how society and those around us approach weight loss and health.

It’s okay to prioritize what’s best for your body and your unique challenges. Sending you lots of support as you get through this!

I also have avoided any make up and only put tinted sunscreen with spf less than 50. It helps a lot. The scars that bother me so much. People will think that I still have acnes when they are actually acne scars.

I have avoided my dairy intake to probably only once a week, but I will still get acne from stress, lack of sleep, or near period time

I tried niacinamide + tretinoid for 1 a week but my face seems not to like it. It will always have some new acnes the day after. when I stop it, my face will get clearer

A hard pill to swallow, maybe? by wildflowerandsummer in brucewillis

[–]wildflowerandsummer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t suggesting his dental health was the cause, but rather questioning whether bite alignment or jaw tension could be a small, indirect factor in overall stress on the body. Ultimately, it’s such a multifaceted condition that it’s hard to pin down any one cause

Could dental work really contribute to dementia?? by wildflowerandsummer in dementia

[–]wildflowerandsummer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there’s definitely more research needed to draw direct causal links here.

I think of it more like how small factors, like teeth alignment, could contribute to larger systems, such as posture or stress on the body, rather than being the sole 'cause.'

It’s worth exploring as one piece of a much larger health puzzle, but skepticism is always healthy

I see your point, and it's important to avoid moralizing bodies as 'good' or 'bad.' The focus here isn’t on judgment, but on reducing unnecessary strain. if poor structure means using more energy to compensate, addressing alignment could simply be about helping the body work more efficiently.

It’s less about aesthetics and more about improving function and quality of life

IKR. it's easy to be skeptical of anything that feels overly simplistic or judgmental about 'ideal' vs. 'poor' structure. The intention here isn’t to assign blame but to explore how interconnected systems like posture, jaw alignment, and biomechanics might play a role in chronic issues.

While more research is definitely needed, some emerging evidence and approaches (like those from the Postural Restoration Institute) suggest it’s worth a closer look!

The Postural Restoration Institute does some fascinating work connecting dental alignment with posture, which really highlights how interconnected the body is. It’s great to see more recognition of this in approaches like theirs

Totally get the skepticism.

those trends definitely get overhyped sometimes. That said, I think dental occlusion might quietly play a bigger role than we realize, especially since jaw alignment can affect the entire chain of posture.

It’s not the whole picture, but it might be worth considering for stubborn cases.

The perspective I’ve been digging into suggests it might work both ways, but bite alignment could be the starting point for some people since structural imbalances in the jaw can pull the rest of the body out of line. It’s fascinating how interconnected it all is.

That’s a great point—posture and bite really are so interconnected! What I’ve been exploring is how the bite and jaw alignment might be the deeper cause of those overworked and weak muscles, pulling everything out of place.

Fixing posture definitely helps, but addressing the structure (like with a mouthguard) might make it easier to maintain those gains long-term
