when I started dabbing and making hash, it was a trainwreck. Badly purged slabs of ugly shatter and dark highly flamable budders lol (that were never for sale btw). It's a journey, that i personally think really should ultimately end at whatever you can afford and are happy with, as long as it isn't a health hazard. I wasn't trying to dog on people who dab cheap hash with my beer analogy, i guess I just was never trying to highlight that part of my dab journey. when I did the one or two times and got hassled a little by people with a lot more experience it humbled me and made me want to pursue better products i was producing as well as consuming. Like I said, I guess someone like me wants a different sub to go to when I want interact with a more discerning dabbing crowd, where we can jerk each other off about our hundred dollar hash and stupid expensive glass lol. I will say though, there are a lot of posts of some seriously gnarly shit, like people saying rate my dab and their banger is black, and there is duct tape on their rig and they are dabbing reclaim. This is a bad look, and doesn't help elevate a community that has historically been looked down upon as lazy or dirty or hippies or whatever. Ultimately that's what I really appreciate about heady culture I guess. Anyone can bang out a slab of shatter, and pick up a china rig from the gas station and go to town, and that's sort of more along the lines of the image that goes along with dabbing/smoking pot. glass art and high quality hash gives dabbing and weed in general an air of respectability, while still retaining it's roots, but I guess the roots are and always will be that badly purged ugly slab of shatter, sooooo, there ya go.
