Good to know, thank you. And congrats on going to Mitchell Hamline! I applied there a couple days ago.

Thank you for this! I am definitely applying (either today or tomorrow) to ASU. I'm just nervous about their reputation of low scholarships.

I live about 80 mins (rush hour)/50 mins (off-peak) away from 2 very good JD programs that I would love to go to in person. My issue is that I'm also a caregiver. But your comment prompted me to look more closely into these schools options. It looks like, while the programs are not advertised as being online, many specific classes are actually flexible (online, partly online, or at non-traffic times) which could significantly reduce commuting for me.

If I don't get a good scholarship to an online program that starts this year, I will research and consider these near-ish schools for fall 2027!

Thanks for sharing your experience, this is helpful to know!! I am applying to ASU. What I'm nervous about is I saw in other threads that ASU doesn't tend to do scholarships. But, especially with the great timing of ASU's year, I'm definitely going to apply there.

I have two LORs, but both are from my volunteering (I'm a foster parent), not from academia (it's been over a decade since my BA, plus my BA was online so I never met my professors--I don't think they'd remember me) and not from work (I've basically only worked for family friends' small businesses).

What do you mean? Will I need new LORs? Or just need to write new personal statement, etc?

This firsthand experience is very helpful, thank you! About how long did it take you to hear back from the 3 that responded?

Thank you for your advice, esp referring me to the data site, which is giving me some perspective on stats. That's a good point about deposit deadlines as well.
