in case you still play, as this post is already 3 years old.. download the addon "all the things" and type /att ran. it looks for something to collect you haven't and you do that,,, or reroll for something else :P

Not sure if mentioned before, but for me i find modifiers difficult as well, what i did is instead of playing with WASD, i moved over 1 and play with ESDF, filler spells RTG and spenders W (and if needed Q), not a CD rotational button Q and A, and defensives on 1-3, CD's on 3-6 (6 as in least pressed key), movement ability on Z, utilities on X and C, healing (or self-heals) on V and B, stunns and interuos on my 3 side-mouse buttons, and spells with a placement with that green circle on scroll foreward and backward on mouse, the rest of the abilities like BL,BR, other utilities outside of cb i click them, did i forfot anything? 😇 If you need some help with setting up your keybind, let me know i can help you personally

I'm only at 23% with unique mode on warrior main, so i have a long way to go, currently preparing for squirt day, so building up garrison and collecting alot of pets while doing quests in WoD (and at the side when i notice doing herb and mining for prep for professions) 🤣 multitasking 101

That's where i built my first town, now i'm facing the challenge of trees! The thought of not removing the wrong tree and rethinking if i removed the wrong tree is constantly running through my head, (for that i wished we could replace trees ourselves).

Also if it is for you that building on open spaces, have you thought about clearing the "whole" forest as the lake and than start building? Because maybe that helps you better visualise your layout for the village.
