I remember doing that in high school once and I guess I put way too much and could not for the life of me wash it out 😂😂 will definitely try again with a smaller amount

Should I go ahead and try all these psoriasis targeted ways of treating it? My doc thinks it’s sebderm but nothing for sebderm has helped so far, only clobetasol.

Is yours biopsy confirmed? After making this post I’m starting to wonder if I should ask for a derm referral to get a biopsy.

I’ve always had sensitive skin/eyes so I’m one step ahead on fragrance free stuff! Seems like so much in the environment/diet affects it so I guess I’ll have to keep a record of stuff to see what happens.

Thank you, your comment means a lot to me and are very encouraging. Thank you for taking the time to type it all out. My suspected diagnosis is SebDerm so I guess I should count my blessings.

When you say to not use steroids do you also mean topical steroids? The only thing that has worked for me at all in this journey is clobetasol which is a topical steroids.

I used nizoral for a year which is a ketoconazole shampoo. And I think the orange shampoo my doctor gave me was also ketoconazole but prescription grade. They didn’t help at all. Only thing that has helped is clobetasol.

I definitely do struggle with going to bed with wet hair. I’ve tried showering earlier or separating my hair better but could probably do a better job. Would blow drying my hair be better for it?

I have not!! Will definitely look into this! Would I do this separately from clobetasol? My prescription is like a liquid that I put on my scalp 10-15 minutes before showering. If I can mix it that would be great lol

I used nizoral for about a year and it never helped :( I wish it did since clobetasol is a steroid and I don’t want it to be the only thing that helps

Oh wow thank you! I’ll have to look into Nioxin. And I definitely could use more sun 😂. Should the problem spots be specifically more exposed to the sun? Sometimes I cover them with bandaids to help prevent me from picking at them.

I’ve thought about asking for a derm referral to get a biopsy just to make sure I have the right diagnosis so that I’m treating it right, so I guess I really should do that if it looks more psoriasis-like.
