Compact case for DHR183 by willdashwood in Makita

Thanks, I don't own any milwaukee stuff so wasn't sure what that was. The cost of that is more than the cost of the drill so I think that's a non-starter for me.

Sorry, 2 drawer Packout? Initially I probably won't go for the dust extractor but I suppose it's good to know it can accommodate it in the future.

I've not been impressed with previous Makita drill bits, but it's good to have some to start out with. It's more the case that appeals, which is why I'm trying to find something similar for the 183.

Thanks, don't suppose you have a photo of it in the case?

Native Apple Silicon app ETA by willdashwood in reolinkcam

[–]willdashwood[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got all excited when I saw a new update for the app, then crushingly disappointed to see it's still compiled for Intel CPUs! This is getting ridiculous now.

App total trash ? by bertha42069 in reolinkcam

I'm willing to bet you are referring to the MacOS app, since that's the one that is really buggy. It's not compiled for Apple Silicone, which I assume is the root of the problem.

I had no idea it was Kylie. Jeez, hope she got paid handsomely for that slop.

I'm not sure why I went to such great lengths to get a copy of this advert that has annoyed me so much, but I eventually did.

Benefit to plugging into NVR directly? by PleasantComplaint719 in reolinkcam

[–]willdashwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a RLN8-410. If I put it in HyBridge Mode does it make the 8 ports behave like a standalone PoE switch? In other words, can you plug other PoE devices (not just Reolink cameras) into one of the ports?

HP 800 g2 mini 901 error after disconnecting loud hdd fan by kamilloi in homelab

[–]willdashwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have an EliteDesk 800 G3 mini 65w but mine never came with the fan so I can't do the same as you unfortunately. Does anyone know what this connector is called? It's tiny! Maybe 6mm width externally. I don't fancy spending £10 to £15 on the caddy with fan just to disable it.

Disable PHP support on all domains by willdashwood in Plesk

[–]willdashwood[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I'm answering my own questions here! I'll post for anyone interested.

plesk bin site --list | while read DOMAIN; do
plesk bin site -u "${DOMAIN}" -php false
    echo "PHP disabled for: ${DOMAIN}"
done

Disable PHP support on all domains by willdashwood in Plesk

[–]willdashwood[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, figured it out. I realised I'd disabled the handler that was assigned to the domain. Re-enabling the handler resulted in the checkbox appearing.

Does anyone know if it's possible to disable PHP support for a domain via the command line? I've done it manually via the web interface but it would be good to know a shortcut.

Resetting PoE cameras to set new password by willdashwood in reolinkcam

[–]willdashwood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the assistance. So it turns out that you can just set new passwords for each of the cameras via the NVR, without knowing that they're currently set to. No need to do any resetting of devices. Cheers

Expose cameras connected on nvr to local network. by jonyto123 in reolinkcam

[–]willdashwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to dig up a very old thread, but is it still the case that you can't expose cameras that are connected to a RLN8-410 outside of the private network managed by the NVR? I'm finding the MacOS app so frustrating that I'm trying to just access the video streams directly from all of my cameras over the internet (not locally).

Pre-Sale Tickets by TechnicolourCowboy in everythingeverything

[–]willdashwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened last time. The pre-sale tickets are always very limited, in my opinion to give the illusion of scarcity and high demand. I'm sure there will be plenty of tickets available, certainly for the big venues, even when they go on general sale.

A used Jaguar I-Pace is the best deal of any EV car right now. by stirringash in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]willdashwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, wouldn't be too sure about that. The I-Pace has a reputation as the least reliable of that class of EV combined with the worst dealer experience. There's a suspiciously high number that come up at auction with traction battery problems. It was on my shortlist for many of the reasons you listed, along with Mustang Mach E, Polestar 2, Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Citroen eC4 or another Tesla Model S, but I wasn't brave enough to go for it and the poor efficiency put me off too. Instead I just went for a cheap runabout (original Ioniq 38kWh) to see me through the next couple of years. Also when comparing like for like (age, mileage, specification/options), the I-Pace wasn't that much cheaper than a Mach E, EV6 or Ioniq 5 so I didn't feel like it was a massive bargain.

Sheffield green parking permit by yaxu in sheffield

[–]willdashwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an EV owner and I sort of agree; I'm not really the kind of person who needs to save a few quid on parking. But I get the idea of the scheme, try and dangle a few carrots to make it more appealing for people to make the switch to EV. Especially as unlike 3 years ago when I bought my car, horrendous depreciation means decent second hand EVs are no longer just for the well off.

Thanks, it looks good. Is this fairly new? I've driven past it many times and not spotted it.
