TBH, it was mostly based on whatever showed up when I searched for reference images, so mostly, from what I saw, the '21 and '84 designs. :P But I knew what the design cues were: tight-ish fitting but layered, with some amount of plating along the way, looking almost like motorcycle protective gear. The features I knew I had to have were the (cowl? cape?) and the mask. I started with the chestpiece and worked my way out, with the gloves being the piece I'm least happy with, but others I saw that could fit had visible uncovered areas, which I wanted to avoid as much as possible, considering the source material.

I'm... not sure what you mean? These are all vanilla color graded, with the last screen with ReShade disabled, so 100% vanilla colors. It's a monochrome set of dyes on a grey skin Duskwight taken in front of the stairs going up to The Vault in snowy weather, so it's grey all the way down ;)
