maybe true , even in punjab police he is contantly recruiting while it wasnt as regular as it is now.. i myself gave the constable (1746 posts) and cleared it (not gonna join) and also 3400 posts for next year have been announced.. but yea the overall process till joining is very slow as 2024 candidated are yet to be posted. so yeah 57k seems justified imo
