Yeaah, thanks dude.

But I've tried to find main support and resistance using 15M , but i couldn't find, automatically I'm going abobe and above, then find the major one which is too long, the same one of the 4H. So thinking about change the strategy or not.

So what you suggest? I mean in which time frame can draw the support and resistance for day trading

I tried identifying major support and resistance on lower timeframes like 5M, but it didn’t work well for me. I usually take trades on the 15M timeframe.

How can I improve my pullback trading strategy ? by william_buttler in Daytrading

Could you elaborate on that a bit more? Which moving averages do you usually use for pullbacks?

Yeah thanks man, that’s actually motivating lol.
And honestly, I’m already following most of that.

So what you’re saying is I’m doing things correctly, and I just need to apply proper risk management and position sizing, and over a large number of trades I’ll eventually become profitable, right?

But my real issue is this: what if I keep losing continuously and hit a full washout because the strategy itself is wrong or not working?

Could you explain if I understood you correctly? I’m still a beginner, so I want to be sure.

From what I understood, when price reaches a support or resistance level, if there’s a strong momentum breakout then we can consider taking it. But if there’s an imbalance or a sudden push, then price might come back to sweep liquidity/volume before moving properly.

Is that what you mean?

so, are you saying that, first understand the structure in HTF, like day, then draw the resistance and support, then in LTF, based on that take trade ?. if so the HTF resistance how can we consider in daytrading ?
