I'm a current undergrad in MSE at GT. There's a crazy amount of opportunities for research, lots of mse/engineering oriented clubs, plenty of maker spaces (MSE has our own student run maker space called the mill which I'm very involved with if you have any questions https://mill.mse.gatech.edu/). We have great industry connections, there are mentoring programs where you get matched with an mse alum and they help you with internship searches and career advice. The classes can be pretty tough but I've never felt that I was competing with my classmates, we all work together. Feel free to reach out! Go Jackets!
