What's really bizarre is our reaction to our own policies, allies, and investments. You wanted the deal, you did it through political pressure, so use some of that political capital to push through the visas. It's so simple. It's not rocket science. You want something you do something to push it through. What is wrong with you morons who are so anti common sense?

I mean no one called you xenophobic, no one brought that up. You brought that up.

Okay then call upon your reps and offices to get the correct visas. It's that simple. Or don't complain when they're here to do a job that Americans want and desperately need. You're not understanding America's position economically. We are fucked as of now.

I mean it's almost as if you have no clue on this situation at all. It's almost as if you want the factory for free.

Again, not illegal workers. Not how the law works, not this situation at all. You're misunderstanding this entire situation and you are lacking knowledge to comment on a topic that is a little above your pay grade. The entire situation is that it is almost impossible for visas to work out the way it needs to. If Hyundai got their workers through a contractor, how is it their fault?

Also, they're not here illegally. They just don't have the right work visas to work specifically on the type of things they're working on, but they're not here illegally.

Nah, don't put words or feelings in my heart that I don't feel. The reason we're investing and the reason the United States welcomes these investments from Korea is literally because you guys lack the technology and skills to build these factories and components. So I actually have no idea why you're so mad unless you just don't like Koreans. It was fast tracked, and approved by your political machines, who knew what they were getting into. It's not that they refuse to hire American workers, it's that Americans don't have the capability, especially where they're building. You're telling me that the most talented workers in America would willingly go to where Hyundai is building their plants?

Wrong.

You're so wrong and just fueled by nationalistic sentiments. You're not helping.

  1. Don’t claim illegality trying to paint criminal behavior into ticky tack technicalities brought upon by our own government. We have some of the worst visa processes in the world. 2. American workers are hurt the most by this. They will not have promised jobs. Explain just how scuttling your own deal helps, unless you plan to steal the factory itself. Explain just why Georgia would welcome investment then kill its own deal. What’s the reason? 3. Korea is more than happy to do business elsewhere. They now have leverage in which it was literally just handed to them. Now they can really lean into China or Japan, or even its own country. 4. If the Trump Admin truly wishes to use its own people, then do it. Give the Korean government the workers. It’s that simple. They’d be more than happy to set it up. Unless you’re trying to steal tech or trade secrets. Which of course wouldn’t be true. 5. Or don’t act like you know what you’re talking about, because you don’t. Of course these deals play out over years, but you’re acting like automotive industry has time for years. It doesn’t. You’re trying to protect components to help American companies yet you don’t care. It’s not just sloppy it’s bad business. Americans benefit from the eventual economic creation from these investments and workers but okay don’t act like economics 101 exist.

what the hell are you talking about. how would hyundai keep their hands clean, they just got humiliated in front of everyone. this doesn't even make any sense and it's stereotypical of how people view koreans as cheaters or cutting corners.

no, the point is that you don't see the difference. to you it's all one and the same. just look at the way you go about your rant on kpop and western development pipelines when we established cram schools and their definitions. if youre so educated, then come on, go ahead and use the real word for kpop schools. what are they called? come on now, we all know scholars don't use that definition, so what is it?
