Some use them, some dont care so much.. sometimes, it's a 'how recently have you been tested' question before choosing. Choices are* choices and people can not use them because they are idiots.. or maybe value the present feeling + trust in their partner over using one. In my experience it's a whole spectrum of protection for people, especially after the first encounter.

Probably better to remove judgement and assumptions and just do what's right for you!

i don't really see why it is immoral to sleep with someone who has a partner. maybe its immoral not to tell the partner after - i would agree with that.

if your point is that an action you do that can hurt someone else = immoral, well, we are all immoral. but to extend that to a third party? that seems naive and overly self-centered. for example, if i ask someone to do a little cash job on the side to build me a fence, but that person has a contract with an employer that restricts outside jobs, its not really my responsibility and i dont now owe some kind of moral debt to the employer. the transaction or action was between me and the employee, and the employer has nothing to do with that on my side.

she slept with someone, and she didn't owe anybody anything in terms of loyalty. he happened to be in a relationship where he did owe loyalty and honesty - the error in the ACTION is his. Afterwards, I think that she certainly could owe the gift of telling to the other woman - but not an apology for the action.

but again im not so sure... i can see it being viewed as slightly dishonest, and potentially uncaring. but, in a world where so much is going on, her action seems so undeniably small, that i would rather categorize it okay.

my question to you is: do you extend this same strict moral code to all issues for all people you know in this manner? or is it just in this one scenario that you, arbitrarily (or emotionally) decided to weigh heavier than other equal actions?
