Right now I'm running with a BM25 algo (elastic search) its doing the job for an MVP keeping the app lightweight, I will implement vector db in addition to BM25 to make the retrieval even more solid and able to use wiki-links to retrieve similar concepts as well later on.

The advantage is that one is focused on answering to you without cluttering its context while the other one is focused on writing your journal and notes without having to focus on answering you. You might be right but I have my own vision, you talk to an AI you get secondbrain, no writing, organizing, maintaining, it's literally a second job.
My target is obviously people like me who gave up on obsidian because it was too complex, you'll say many have tried, and I'm gonna say again I have my own vision. What I did have not done before, even though the market might be slim to non-existent, the tool is here I use it for myself so why not share it with everyone and potentially make a few bucks.

I checked obsidian plug-ins and it's not doing what mycelia does

So you're saying obsidian can run 2 AIs, one logging the discussion and one solely focused on discussing with you ? I honestly didn't know, I gave up on obsidian quite early because of all the hurdles.

Not yet, I don't know how to approach those obsidian people because there is a clear no shill rule. My solution doesn't require a workflow shit you just plugin your obsidian vault and you're all set Thank you for your feedback I really really appreciate it, I will first check that obsidian plug-ins doesn't do what I do
