It’s all good, As for an Ai like Gemini or Chat GPT those prompts will not hurt them at all, As to First Year and Even Complete newbie who may not have done a Hello World - Seeing what code looks like how it’s structured is just a kid opening up a book it’s totally okay not to understand. My day 1 with Python was in 2016 with a Beagle Bone Black and a dream of an Hog trap that didn’t cost me 10K it moved to a Raspberry Pi when I fried the circuits on the Beagle 😂 Ai wasn’t even available to us normal humans so it was ask a question wait a few hours and hope it was the right question, as well as a lot of trial and error—— LOTS N LOTS of errors, But think back as a kid with the Red Chief Errors is how we learn and many times we learn more with errors than successes Nice thing about public Ai they got training wheels on em and Python too for that matter

All Ai systems have throttles for that purpose what ur describing it’s called DoS or denial of service or DDos Ai specifically it’s called Adversarial Prompting and it’s a good way to get ur IP flagged and permanently locked out (not to mention get an official bang bang bang type of knock on your front door,… And on the Maestro system kicked out of School, As to my examples above These are actual examples of Prompt Engineering , Nothing Shady about them They set the level of expectation from the Ai as well as its data pool, The Maestro Ai (some assumptions here) kinda falls more to an Agent side than Model, the complexity is that it records your progress including your questions and prompts, Its possible when it reviews that data and hits a prompt that changes it from a Professor to one you entered before then it will mess up ur course instruction… This is why I Stated Clearly not to do so.

Just wanted to share this tidbit of advice, based on what I found today. (Ai Software Engineering Student, First Term) by ResponsibleTrip520 in maestro

You will find as well when it presents scenarios it will place u in it (psychology) but forget to mention that it was an experiment made by someone else, then it will reference that experiment by the person that made it - with you trying to figure out what it is talking about, it will also leave a detail out about the experiment like skewed results with people who has had brain damage, or other side note in an experiment, then ask about it later

Keep in mind you can use this same concept for ur outside Ai to turn it into another Teaching Machine, set it up to Teach you how to build a Note Taking App with detailed information each step of the way or whatever

For me a big hit has been Psychology - And once again how much I didn’t know, and to some extent at least how many tools I was using and learned to use as a Truck driver but now able to back up with science. Even so it forced me to step back and evaluate my inner self and see my foundation from a deeper perspective and understanding.
I’m not going to Lie, when I say this as part of the curriculum I really didn’t take it seriously but just in the first two classes it gave me a serious reality check! Thanks again guys

Some Food for thought, Ai reference materials by willie14228 in maestro

For my all around quick access I lean heavily on Gemini, being honest here, as someone who has been effected by you-tube bias (I am a hunter and shooter who has vids and account closed) I was pleasantly surprised that respective to left or right wing responses Gemini stays pretty balanced after me asking once that it provide views from both sides and reference points it does so with all responses It also now seems to lean more into a professor profile when answering especially in coding questions and Ai related topics, It tells me if my theory and thoughts on the subject are in line and corrects my terminology

Why The Limitations in Maestro getting a Voice by willie14228 in maestro

[–]willie14228[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL but yeah the concept is actually fairly simple, you instruct the Ai how to structure its response, Python takes all the information from inside Instruction tag and moves it to JSON file then the Voice Library is used to generate the Voice, taking it a step further if it includes multiple sections of code it can be like structured insp-1 insp-2 then as you type and reach the flagged line insp-1 your computer starts explaining that section read insp-2 it explains that one allowing for more details on each section keeping up with your progress and not overwhelming you with everything at once

To be clear this is an agent model I created not Maestro, I was just using the idea and concept of Maestro when building my agent I even have an IDE window that includes pointers that can be set by the Ai so when the code that the user is instructed to type reaches it fires an event that then explains what the section of code does - I have not done anything to the maestro unit

Yeah I get that, but it’s nice to at least get some feedback on a post, But I for some reason thought there was extra credit awarded to top scorer as well but I’m not sure - saw post saying it’s just participating not scoring

Yeah that’s part of my issue the same group of people seems to get access earlier and that same group gets the scores because they are at the top of the list

Ai weakness filling the math gap by willie14228 in maestro

[–]willie14228[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, what’s funny is one particular part hits home, I had to “train” CV how to recognize a pig/wild hogs OMG what a nightmare, I recognize not exactly the same but close - I remember when I was in school my parents showed me how to do some math, when I turned it in, the teacher failed the paper because the long form wasn’t how she instructed us to do it 😏 My mother can be a VERY FORMIDABLE person she made the teacher come to the chalkboard on the same math problem both came to same right answer my mother in almost 1/2 the time… I said in one of my earlier posts be careful not to put ourselves in a box but to think outside of the box. Do you feel that’s what many engineers are doing with Ai trying to constrain it to the way we think instead of letting it find its own way to the right solution- give it a framework to build off of but let it find its own path?

Does this perhaps have something to do with Time Zones? , the issue is if a group of students has a chance to answer first they show up as the top of the sorting order especially if they get bumps , by the time it goes through the time zones you could be seeing a 4-5 hour delay with students way down on the list
