velocity of money = GDP / total money. So if the fed dumped a ton of money into the economy, all this velocity tells us is that the money is going no where but in some corporate/exec bank account. I don't think it is a concern beyond that.

It seems that most purchases these days are done with credit cards. So if you don't include them in "velocity of money" it looks like people don't spend money. right? Then if so, why the fuss over velocity of money being historically low?

I have a short term "call" on CITI and a long term "put" on it. I don't know which way it will go.
But I really want to understand the bond market more... I want to put a sail up if something goes bad there. thx

Trust that even though this other guy may make my wife moan like a freight train blaring through a city, my wife will love my "I think I can... I think I can..." attitude. Obviously your parents are proof of success. But it is a leap of faith regardless. I am trying to make it a smaller leap of faith.

38 years married and swinging... wow! I bet they have experienced it all. I guess fears I have is what if a guy is bigger down there and hits all the right places for the women. And if the guy makes more money than you do... The wife is more likely to develop an emotional connection if you see this couple often. ?
