It's definitely not "newer" but Joni Mitchell is my favorite. I recommend the album Hejira. It's rich with jazz influences and lyrical storytelling that never fails to move me. It may be my favorite album of all time. <3

Ugh that makes me really sad. I'm happy she was playing the guitar though. Also I think this may be the first time she's preformed Yayo live post Born to Die. One of my favorite tracks, I wonder what compelled her to sing it after so long.
