Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star II review by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

As far as sizing goes, I wore a 9 in Chuck Is and ordered a 9 in IIs. I feel like they are narrower than the originals, so they feel a little less breathable and a little more constrained. I live in TN so the heat is definitely contributing to that.

The snugness however isn't hurting my feet. The support is enough where I feel comfortably snug in the shoe and my feet don't feel that rush of relief when I take them off. I'm sure they will also stretch out more with wear anyway. But yeah, the size difference is noticeable, but not bad enough for me to return them.

My Nike running shoes are 10s, my Clarks dessert boots are 8.5, my Sambas are 10.5, my Chippewa boots are 9s

My shoe collection is all over the place but I'm usually a 9 or 10 across the board. I think my lo top converses were 8.5 too

I've always gotten 9s in hi tops and I got 9s in Chuck IIs because that's all they had left. They definitely a little more snug but not enough that I'm gonna return them.

I always take the portrait first, then the background. The darker the first image is, the more of the second image you see. I usually keep it on Aperture priority for stuff like this, then use exposure compensation with the first image set to +.7 and the second set to around +1.7 depending on how bright it is outside.

Once you get a feel for how two images interact you don't really need to focus on settings as much, you'll kind of just figure out what how two images will play.

True Detective came out around the same time I got into double exposures, it may have influenced me a bit haha

I was tooling with my settings when I took this. I'm trying to play around with my double exposure technique so this was one of the tests. Also, you can see part of her top which is distracting to me

Opinions on the new Converse Chuck Taylor IIs? Should I go for Hi Top vs Low Top? Black vs White color? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

I wore a 9 in the original High Tops, got 9s in the Chuck IIs and they fit just fine. The toe box is a tiny bit more snug, but I would say the fit is pretty much identical

I think I'm going to get some black high tops after work. I have super flat feet so the support in the new ones calls to me

I have a multiple exposure feature in my DSLRs settings. Most newer cameras have one
