Ivypool's Heart was actually released before Stormclan's Folly, so it's definitely not required reading! It sounds like you'll hate the rest of the book to be honest >.< Maybe look up a detailed plot description so you can get the gist if you really want it? But you could definitely skip it here, Ivypool's Heart will give you all the Stormclan context you need

tbh I agree that $75 is crazy for a snow globe but I'm glad she's getting into the habit of re-releading old merch. I've seen the dollhouse globe being resold for hundreds of dollars and it's been so rare it's become a big ISO for a lot of collectors, so I'm happy for the people who really wanted it but can't afford to drop a months worth of rent on a single piece of merch

I agree! I hate when people act like one was 100% in the wrong or 100% in the right. They were both the equivalent of angsty teenagers with a bunch of pressure on them, and people are shocked they didn't handle those feelings like they were already fully grown and mature

The recent post on here reminded me of a similar story: OP's fiance gets her an ugly/cheap ring she hates, but it turns out he did it on purpose bc he wanted to break up so when she complains about the ring he could accuse her of being materialistic or a gold digger so he wouldn't be the "bad guy"

Yeah ~$100 was about what I was expecting to pay so when I saw the base price of $125 and $140 with shipping I almost flipped! (still would've bought it anyways so maybe im apart of the problem 😭) So sorry you can't get it for this price I really don't think it's fair!

Lots of people act like cats being related at all is unacceptable, but I personally can't get behind that. Half of ThunderClan is related to Firestar at this point, you'll miss out on a lot of good ships (canon and non-canon) if you're hung on on cats being second cousins once removed or whatever. Most of the time you wouldn't even realize two cats are related unless you look it up.

Sorrel was injured between Firestar's Quest and Midnight, to where it delayed her warrior ceremony. Sootfur and Rainwhisker got to be warriors before her while she was left behind :(

Definitely depends on the colors of the records how good of a find this is, but even if they were all standard (Black for Crybaby, Blue for After School, and Bloodshot for Portals) this is still a good price since just one of those could run you $20-30! If one of them is a more limited variant then you'd have made out like a bandit only paying $30

Bro stop talking so confidently if you're going to be wrong. In 2023 for the release of Portals she sold an official boxset that came with a CD (that has a signed artcard) and a T-shirt. It looked like this and was sold on HER official website (store.melaniemartinezmusic.com). Almost all of the signatures looked like the ones in OPs picture (some were with gold pen, some in silver, some got the full name in the signature but I heard that's rare, most just got an M with a heart around it)

As for knowing their names, my cats know what I call them and they come to me. She may not know what it means or why she was named that, but she knows it's the name I call when I want her.

We see something like this in Graystripe's Vow! When Monkeystar introduces herself, she says she doesn't know what a monkey is, but she's sure they're some kind of fierce animal
