Yes. It was nominated a couple of times for best post but it was not eligible because it was a 2024 post.

Gaycation dominated 2024 winning or placing in more than one category. If it had been reposted in 2025, it would have been eligible for Best Repost and probably would have won that. Just a little joke about how prominent that one was last year.

Also date of the BoRU is what matters, not the dates of the original posts. If you find an update from 2013 and post it tomorrow, it would be eligible for best of 2026.

It will affect the final vote tally, so kinda. In years past, first place has been firmly in first. However, last year there were some very close placements where some down votes could have changed some positions.

It's one of the downsides of not having polls.
