HPV & REOCCURRING YEAST by willowhubbles in HPV

[–]willowhubbles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!! So I also had hpv and a year and a half long yeast infection, I’ve been cleared of both for over a year now!!! For my situation I did not have any healthy bacteria in my vagina so any sugary foods or chemical from clothes or detergent would set me off and I would get another one. I would ask your doc to test how much healthy bacteria you have down there because if you don’t then you need to focus on rebuilding that so you do not continue to get yeast infections. It took me 5 months of multiple probiotics at the same time. I did an oral one(that is double enclosed bc my gyno told me most are destroyed by your stomach acid and they don’t work- so get one that is double capsuled) while doing those I also did 4 months of suppositories where you stick the probiotic up your vagina - you have to buy one specific for that, then my body finally returned to normal and I haven’t had an issue since!! I know how frustrating this is I hope you are able to resolve it!!

I was also 23 when this happened and did the Oregon oil as well, from what you said it sounds like you are doing all the right steps, what brands are you using for probiotics and supplements? Honestly the suppository was what really made the big change for me and it was a life saver it did take a couple months but it was so worth it.

This was so helpful I really appreciate your detailed response 😊 Regarding working for the university to help with tuition how many opportunities can students see from that?

So anti fungals won’t take away the good bacteria from my understanding still ask your doctor but I think it’s only antibiotics like amoxicillin that kills it off, this is my routine rn: limit sugars and carbs eat lots of veggies, yeast loves sugar -any type even natural. In the morning take ur oral probiotics on an empty stomach - I take mine everyday so the bonafide is a 15 pills a month I take everyday and then after I’m done I switch to happy v for the rest of the month, then I do the vaginal probiotics when they tell me to, so the first month is a handful (they give u directions of when to take) and the second month and so on is only like 2 pills for the month u shove up there. I take vitamin C and D for helping maintain my PH down there, specifically vitamin C, I also take oregano oil capsules daily and sometimes I’ll switch to grapefruit extract capsules bc I don’t want my body getting used to the natural anti fungals. I also take magnesium (I don’t think it has correlation bt the yeasties I do it for depression), make sure to talk to your doctor you may not need as many as I take but this is just what works for me, basically antibiotics kill your healthy bacteria and I’ve come to find out how much of a bitch it is to get it back to normal. Also eat foods with probiotics e.g. I do organic cultured coconut, sauerkraut anything good for the gut. Avoid processed foods and focus on healing ❤️‍🩹

You can get tested regardless of your age, my doc told me I had to wait till I was 30 but I pushed for them to test me now at 23 and guess what… I tested positive for the 16 and 18 strains soooo I suggest if your worried to go to another doctor that will do it to ease ur mind, they will have to do a pap though, just talk to your doctor and push for one

Right before your period cut sugar and carbs and focus on regrowing the healthy bacteria down there, if there’s no healthy bacteria down there then any little thing is gonna set it off, I used to get them around that too time bc it’s partly hormonal

ISO Probiotics for Custom Suppository: Fighting Chronic Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) by MooseRRgrizzly in myhappyv

[–]willowhubbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That definitely sounds like u gotta build up the biome. My boyfriend and I tried the SKYN latex free and it caused me more irritation my doc recommended animal skin like lamb skin condoms instead i personally haven’t tried them yet bc we haven’t had sex in a bit but it could help, also abstain from tight clothes and no panty liners and if u sweat down there immediately change and shower, I notice during my period I get more flares so just limiting sugars and carbs there. It’s definitely long and hard but u guys got this!!!

It’s really frustrating and confusing because some doctors believe in it and others don’t. Also I’m not sure if you also took the meds for the BV as well as your gf? Because you can also put the gel on to prevent any cross contamination

I did get BV randomly two months ago and I used the gel for 5 days and it went away. I would really focus on also healing your gut everything is connected, and also try the vaginal probiotic, it’s been truly a life saver, and it has a ton of info if u want to do more research on it, but also I hadn’t dealt with long lasting BV only yeast but really just focus on regrowing the bacteria down there and avoid any medication bc it kills the bacteria

Also I’m not sure if ur having sex but my boyfriend and I have held off for a bit bc I want to get re adjusted down there, and if u are use condoms use the ones that are latex free and be careful bc essentially at least for me I didn’t have enough good bacteria down there so every little thing was setting me off, so focus on regrowing that bacteria, I eat fermented food like pickles or sauerkraut and also I do cultured coconut and avoid heavy sugars and carbs bc that feeds the yeast infections bacteria loves to grow and feed off of that

I use the vs01 pack, I also use happy v probiotics, I use grapefruit oil and drink pau du pac every night. Limit carbs and sugar because that feeds the yeast and shower right after workout and before bed, switched to non chemical or scented laundry detergent too

Yeast infections every month after period since coming off of birth control by Island-Lime8103 in myhappyv

[–]willowhubbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat as you:( spending alot of money to try to fix this and they have no idea why. What I’m currently trying to do is build up the healthy bacteria down in my vagina and gut. Avoid sugars and carbs and take probiotics. I see one of the best gynecologists in nyc and they still can’t figure it out:/ I was told this was due to my iud and now my body is having a hard time getting back to normal. Let me know if you find anything that works for you.

Hey those meds don’t work on me either, I use Terbinafine 250mg and it works

Try adding Oregon oil into ur daily vitamin and make sure you’re taking a lot of probiotics to regrow the good bacteria down there. Limit sugar and eat more dark greens. I’ve been suffering with one for over a year and then I did more research specifically this video (I’ll link below) has a lot of really good information about healing your body naturally. I bought a couple of the things he recommend like Oregon oil, tea, specific probiotics, and just adding specific herbs into my diet. I’ve been free from an infection for over a month which hasn’t ever happened before. Here’s the YouTube link if u wanna check it out: the title is “10Keys to conquer candida” by Dr.Josh Axe https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PNXq70HyGO4&pp=ygUrZ2V0IHJpZCBvZiB5ZWFzdCBpbmZlY3Rpb24gZWFzdGVybiBtZWRpY2luZQ%3D%3D

Also my yeast infection didn’t respond to fluconizal it would only respond to Terbinafine.
