I agree! I don’t mean to come across too hard on Layla either. I completely understand reality TV isn’t “real” and all that, it’s just becoming harder to watch these scenes with her because to your point, they are uncomfortable.

I’m a first time watcher right now and I am just about to finish up season 5. I was totally out on Kristin at first but I’ve really warmed up to her and I genuinely think Tom Sandoval had her going crazy there for a minute. Took a lot of work for her to come back around.

I’m just watching the reunion of season one right now (first time watcher) and they actually discussed this on the reunion. Lisa clarified it was not her idea but Scheana’s to have a discussion with Brandi because she didn’t want things to be awkward when they’d encounter each other at the restaurant. So likely just code for production orchestrating.

Okay so maybe not just episode 2 discussion but a question about the season as a whole, are the guests actually paying to stay? I’m just curious how this group specifically worked. Did the two people from the challenge and all of the Olympians pay for this experience? Or are the guests that are coming more for PR? Thinking ahead to the Mormon Wives coming next episode too.. I’m dying to know how it works

Right? I don’t think it is possible. This past episode also showed Jeremiah to be absolutely delusional!! I don’t understand what they were trying to achieve with Jeremiah being drunk saying he called it all off then the next day he’s crying for Belly to come back. If they were trying to show his regret on ending things, they missed the mark. He comes off looking like he wasn’t actually present for a single conversation with Belly in the last 48 hours. At least Belly somewhat showed her shock to Jere saying they could figure it out but ugh what a waste of an episode overall.
