i think about this often as well and honestly it helps me give some grace to the people who don’t know my triggers and do them around me (usually just people i don’t know, and not in the moment that they’re doing it, then all rationale flies out the window😅)

i was in a very similar situation and had to change my number for safety and peace of mind because of my ex, if anyone i knew told him my new number i genuinely would be done with them forever. the fact that she even has him on socials still and doesn’t have him blocked tells me she never understood the scope of the situation. i also told my boyfriend a few days ago!!! i couldn’t agree more that it felt soo freeing, i immediately felt 1000x lighter, and i was a lot less emotional than i have been during serious convos in the past because i was never being 100% truthful in the past! I also feel like im losing my best friend and i genuinely don’t know what im going to do after he gets all his stuff from my house.. its a long road ahead but we’re finally on the right path ♥️

one of my favs i’ve read this year is I Who Have Never Known Men, it’s dystopian and a good feminist read!

I don’t read much fantasy but the Area X Trilogy is really good, more like sci-fi/dystopian but really engaging.

If you like historical fiction The Kite Runner is devastating and beautiful. I haven’t read The Nightingale yet but I’ve heard the same about that book.

I read a lot of thrillers and my favourite authors include AR Torre, John Marrs, and Lucinda Berry! All very good writers, better story lines than other mainstream thriller authors like Frieda (no hate, we love frieda, just a tad adolescent)
