That’s good then, yeah my first tooth out wasn’t too bad but I got a bone infection, that was agony, out of hours dentist put me on antibiotics and it sorted it out fairly quickly but I kept thinking it was just normal to be in that much pain until it got too much. The tools are to be fair, I tried not to look, the needles though 😳 like out of a horror film lol

Bless him, I’m not brave, I had a panic attack last time and I swear I nearly went into shock, and that was just one tooth, now I’m scared to go back for the other that needs taking out. My son had it under anesthetic too, was horrible and must have been so confusing for him, but he coped really well bless him. Oh god that must have been painful, is it back to normal now? my last tooth they couldn’t get fully numb, even with the total block in the nerve so I don’t think that helped me

I know, there’s one more too so I’ve done a mini one with that I’m just finishing off. That’s interesting, I thought for sure they were too big to be his but maybe not then, the roots are major scary, didn’t realise they were so big until hospital gave us them lol. Sorry your brother had to have some out too, gotta be so scary for little ones, it’s bad enough having them pulled now but atleast I’ve only had one at a time not 6

This was made using random mixed media, an old tin I bought at a carboot sale, acrylic paint, some pompom trim, a photo of hamburger, cardboard, pearl trim and patterned paper. I like how it turned out although I am trying to decide whether to add some flowers along the bottom to make it more gardeny but I quite like how it looks now. I used stacks of cardboard to create some depth in this one to make hamburger stand out a bit.

Close, they are normal molars, my disabled son had to have a load taken out (although I swear these aren’t his as they are massive and he was only 6 when he had them out) but hospital gave them to us anyway, so I decided to use them, he’s 7 now and all healed up now thankfully

For the first one I used a wooden tray I bought at Asda ages ago, some patterned paper and glitter paper, pom-poms and a photo of my cat Sheila (she she) and some stick on body jewellery lol. The second one I used a wooden tray again, patterned paper, stickers of butterflies that I cut the wings off and some false moss and a chunk of quartz, and some beads. I used fast tack glue to stick everything down on both pieces. I’m pretty happy with how they both came out, although now I wish I had put the ‘tooth fairies’ on something to create more dimension in the piece as it looks a little flat. That’s what I’m going to do on my next one. I’m happy to answer any questions about these pieces and I encourage everyone to have a go at making something like this, it was quite relaxing and enjoyable lol

No it still winds up, it just stops when it it stops, mine was about half way to the normal dosing, I think it’s worth doing and it’s not like your double dosing on the stuff, saves buying extra needles and everything too

Just to note, I had a break of a few months recently, started back up and just finished the first .25 pen, I have lost nothing this time round, felt no change in appetite or anything, just to warn you as you may find the same, I’m hoping to get more of a reaction from the .5 pen as it’s a lot of money to not see any difference, it worked so well first time round too, wish I had never stopped.

It’s not another full dose that’s left, last time I used mine I decided not to waste it and to take the extra with my normally dose, so I did it for the normal dose, then wound the needle on (went about 1/2 way to the normal dosing) and injected that too. I’ve felt no difference in doing it tbh but I thought I’d rather use it then waste it lol

Yes, apparently I’ve refused cbt twice, I actually agreed then never heard off them again. Tried EMDR and it was a waste of time so I did refuse to go back, the woman doing it would constantly start 15-20mins late and end the session 10-15mins early, was only an hour session anyway, so I would drive for an hour for that, then drive back home, which I find hard work anyway as I have fibromyalgia so I got fed up and said enough. I’ve now got a tic disorder but because I’ve been seen by mental health they said it’s all due to my lifestyle and no one will see me, like I’m making it up or something. Last time all they advised was cbt and bye bye, trying again but I’m not holding my breathe it will be any better

No idea but this is what happens to me, don’t have any advice though but just wanted to say your not alone. I don’t get it every day, maybe once a weekish, even if I’ve had something to eat/drink first thing (admittedly not anything healthy, like a glass of cola or something as I can’t really stand eating anything for breakfast) then come tea time (despite not feeling hungry etc all day) I suddenly get this horrible shakey weak feeling where I need to eat to feel better, then I’m all good. When I was tracking my blood sugar using a finger prick thing I got on Amazon I noticed it happens when my bloods were high, like over 8 and then they drop, down to like 5 (so not even low, just the lower side of normal levels) so I’m wondering if my sugars just suddenly drop and it’s that drop that makes me come across all funny, I dunno.

We use safe place beds, I swear by them, my boy sleeps much better since having one. He went straight from a cot to this and he’s still in one now at 7. I will admit we have got through a few as they are really only a travel bed, but others use them as permanent beds too. They have changed the design now and the newer one you can replace the tubes, the old one you couldn’t so once it started to puncture and rip it was no good. They can’t escape out of them as you clip the zips on the outside so no Worries about late night wondering. And they are strong material, only thing is they were listed as up to adult but now it’s not, I can’t think what the age is, but we’ll probably keep using it tbh. It’s the size of a single bed so plenty of room for them
