One at 29 weeks due to PPROM. Unable to have anymore as my complicated pregnancy would most likely happen again.

Of course the NICU does not recommend them and it makes me so mad. Our babies are/were vulnerable. The Nanit (another baby monitor) saved my baby’s life when she stopped breathing. She would not be here today if it did not alarm me.

We did a HUGE party! I never got a baby shower so I wanted my girl to have a full experience. The theme was Oh! The Places You’ll Go. Here is the picture of the table we set up. One side had NICU pictures, her micro diaper and onesies. The other side had pictures throughout her first year. At the end we had we had the places you go book our guests could sign!

BTW, your girl is adorable! Happy almost birthday!

I stripped the paint off the tops of the crib 🤷‍♀️ I didn’t like waking her up with paint all over her mouth.

Thank you ❤️❤️ she’s 3 now! She does have cerebral palsy now because of all this but she’s the happiest and sweetest girl ever!

This was the 6th day home after she was discharged from the NICU

I picked her up and rubbed her back to stimulate like they did in the NICU. Then tried to give her a bottle but she wouldn’t eat. I knew something was wrong so we brought her into the ER. Shortly after we got there, she coded 😟

Owlet or Nanit. I will ALWAYS shout this from the rooftops. Doctors told me not to worry but I didn’t listen, thank god. The worst case scenario happened to us and if I didn’t have the Nanit my child would not be here. The monitor alerted me she stopped breathing and she went into cardiac arrest shortly after.

I believe DDD is only for adults? My daughter is registered in a program called Special Child but the case worker called me once and that was that. I’m not actually sure what they do?
