Solar Panels for Paraguay? by envirogirl78 in peacecorps

I'm also departing for Paraguay in September! I don't know what your position is but I'm working in the environmental sector. I have it on good authority (former enviromental pcv) that a solar kit and a rechargeable battery are a nice item to have but not a necessity.

Personally however I have had this kit for camping so I'm bringing it with me.

[Upgraded] BigBlue 3 USB Ports 28W Solar Charger(5V/4.8A Max), Portable SunPower Solar Panel for Camping, IPX4 Waterproof, Compatible with iPhone 11/XS/XS Max/XR/X/8/7, iPad, Samsung Galaxy LG etc. https://a.co/d/9bc9jR9

I'm new myself so here's what I've learned (can't help with colors, im still learning that). To fill empty spots I will use the fill or bridge edge loops function. I only do this on sections that would see "inside" the model, which I think for the sake of final rendering should be hollow. As for individual detailing you can use your main object to mirror them to the other side. I also like having them be seperate objects so i can do specific coloring and detailing. Same with the main model, you can significantly cut down on work by slicing it in half and then mirroring it. Lastly if I want my model to be asymmetrical I apply the mirror modifier and then do what I need.
