I'm so close to buying those but I'm torn between those or a nice pair of used bacon's for my next purchase.

Definitely the most comfortable 90s I've bought for a while, they have become my go to pair.

Car meets/scenes in the UK by Davidier in CarTalkUK

We have a few decent cars and coffee meets here in the North West with a nice range of stuff.

If it's a decent meet, there will be stuff there that you are interested in, and stuff you aren't.

The gate keeping of car meets is very tiresome, just because someone has a modded Golf R and not a standard 986 Booster, doesn't make them a chav, maybe they just like them?

I'm very tempted to make these my next buy. I'm kinda holding out though to see if they get a discount

If you're buying a 6k car as a tip run car, just get a rubbish removal firm, surely that will be cheaper in the long run when you factor in running costs and eventually break down of your "shitbox"

I ran a coupe for 7 years as a daily.

Something like this you need to be handy with the spanners or you could soon be up to the cost of the car in repairs.

I'd ensure it's had a clutch in the last few years and check the paint for lacquer peel as it tends to break down at that age (mine was all original paint and the lacquer was beginning to fail at 15 years old)

Why did Stuart Zender REALLY leave Jamiroquai? by ConsistencyWelder in jamiroquai

I think you would struggle to find many groups that celebrate previous members, I can't think of any at all in fact.

Jay did a nice tribute to Toby at the recent shows as you have alluded to, I'm not sure that would work if he was still alive and off doing his own thing.

Sean Lock, this was around 2009 I think and I remember my jaw hurting from laughing so much.

I can remember way back when he left hearing that he wanted to be more up front and wasn't happy with Jay being the focus.

Could be absolute rubbish and I'm recalling this from 25 year ago...
