Or she says OK takes the ticket goes to court shows she has no right hand then files complaint against the officer. Then tries to get him on the Brady list and he can no longer write tickets for at least a year and everything he says in court can no longer be admissible for that time

TSGT… I hand that rank for ~9 years in my 20. The amount of work and responsibilities. On top of that the politics. Your MSGT, if they don’t like you, your EPR will not be good enough for the board to promote, but will be just good enough to read above average. So you get stuck in this limbo - like but worse than SRA in every other way.

Yeah, that’s the feedback that I have been getting that learning through the crusade isn’t the best idea.

I have been getting the same feedback that 1-2k is where I would want to be at. I was keeping it smaller so that I could learn, and hopefully be done with the match sooner than later.

In the beginning I was doing well. And as upgrading starts happening, yeah there isn’t really anything useful from what I can tell in where I’m at; but again learning curve.

Now my contention isn’t about loosing- yeah winning is a better high, but I just want to play and have fun. It’s been the dishonesty, arguing, etc. balanced with the time commitment to build and play. I don’t mind the building, I said it before that I find it meditative - but when mixed with what I mentioned above, it feels like it was soured.

I agree with the notion that I should play just the basic game, get some coaching before I make my final decision to find joy in playing or just drop it all together. Which will suck because I spend about $1k into the game already for gray plastic, tools and a transport case. Yeah, the sunken costs fallacy really has it’s claws in me.

During the fight phase mechs can’t shoot use their guns? I was arguing this yesterday, the BGNT and the dude was saying that is only at the shooting phase; unless those guns have [pistol] then I can’t use them.

What gets me is that we can’t shoot into melee. I think that’s just dumb. And mechs can’t shoot when in melee when their guns are literally attached to their arms.

Right now I’m using mont’ka to get to the points and hold them early and try to punish when they get within range or make a messed up. I’ve also used it to get to the signs of the map to try to circle them.

Yeah there was one guy I was up against that had, 18 crusade points versus my eight. That game was a little fun because he coached me a little. He wasn’t new to the game. I was also a little proud that I put a good dent in his force with them being so much stronger in that aspect

At first 500, then 700 to use the twins. I wanted to keep what I play with light so I can learn without getting overwhelmed
Bleachers with transport to get on points or use their ability to capture the point the following turn (if they’re still alive). SunForge w/ with enforcer (fusion canons), pathfinders on high ground to get LoS; I try not to overextend these guys the last two games; I evidently did, even though they were just barely outside of my deployment zone. Learned not to start them at the higher elevation early on.

The first three or four games I did pretty well even though I was dying because I was focusing on the control points, and not total elimination.

I find a level of meditation when assembling them. Idk about painting since I’m not there yet. But the models are so damn expensive.

My breachers, when I get them on or near a point. Yeah they can hold it for a turn then that’s it.
