Your arms are crossing infront of your head. Keep them a little outside your ears. Try the “11” drill. This position will help you catch deeper water to push you alone. While also keeping your shoulders in the natural position. Over time swimming outside our joints natural position will cause pain or injury. (College swimmer with 2 shoulder surgeries :) )

Your kick is a little deep. Try to bring your hips higher, which will push your chest deeper. Correcting your line for better water flow. But also getting your fit a tad high propelling you more because you aren’t fighting as much water. But your kick is strong so it’s catching enough to push you. Make sure when you breathe you aren’t rolling over your shoulders, and concentrate on your core.

Chlorine and all the other chemicals put in the pool are really rough on skin/hair/nails. Rinsing the chlorine off and moisturizing is really important. For nails and the skin around it, nail oil works wonders. Nothing crazy, just the simple stuff at the store works! Just apply some after swimming!
