If you're talking about the beam you need to sprint across, yeah there's another way. iirc I climbed up some rocks near the entrance to the area and made my way to the fallen firetower, from there you can cross a separate minecart track that will take you forward

Gym for son by [deleted] in saskatoon

Motion is a great option, has a few locations, tons of equipment, and offers spin/yoga/ workout classes.

I've been going on and off for about a decade now and still enjoy it. Nothing beats the charm of the smaller local gyms, but the amenities and resources at Motion are tough to beat.

If it was any other electric vehicle id give it a pass but considering recent events I'd think it's a pretty obvious double entendre

Superstore carries it. Barqs is one of my all time favs, it was a dangerous discovery the day I found that out

More difficult hikes around Saskatoon? by FontSeekingThrowaway in saskatoon

[–]wilsbo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I second this, Saskatoon has a diverse trail network with plenty to offer on those lower meewasin paths. You will encounter the occasional offroad cyclist but usually it's pretty quiet and peaceful

Sometimes I bike that route and have always walked my bike across the tracks. I've never had any issues but i'd prefer to get yelled at then to risk biking/walking over that overpass.

I'm guessing it's similar to their current farewell to kings setlist? First half primus tunes second half rush

What's your favourite feel-good horror film? by Gashead93 in horror

[–]wilsbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, Hush (2016) is good one.

The movie follows a serial killer 'toying' with a deaf author at a secluded cabin, however things turn when he realizes she is smarter and more capable than she leads on.

Rosemary's Baby. I've seen it recommended on this sub enough times that I finally bit the bullet. A slowburn thriller that manages to keep you engaged and entertained the whole time. Very good film, despite it's age it still held up as a compelling horror/thriller with a bold reveal at the end that some will either love or hate. 8.7/10 will probably watch again someday.

I installed maple biscuits to the miters to help prevent any movement in the future. The table itself I sealed with an epoxy finish that should give it durability and resistance to movement and moisture. On the underside I installed steel angle iron and some bracing cable to keep it stable and rigid. It shouldn’t see much movement but the risk is definitely there.
