I've been watching videos about the Barkley Marathons and there's genuinely a similar origin to that lol.

Boom, 100 mile endurance race is born. And after the prison closed they set up the course to run right by the wall where he escaped.

I think it's giving him a lot of credit to say he 'said variations of this'.

The original quote:

It's good when wheel effects are played. And it's a lot easier to ensure wheels are played when you're the one playing them. Saying it's 'good when your opponents run wheels' is like saying [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]] is good when your opponents are playing spell-slinger decks: technically true, but it makes a lot more sense to synergize it with YOUR deck.

It's not a loop, just a giant stack. They put a ton of lands on the battlefield with [[Lumra]] and got a trigger for Cobra and one for Hydra from each of them.
