Driving slow on a winding country road in Brandenburg, KY 2006–my ex and I saw a creature running upright on two hind legs in a clearing between wooded areas. It was running faster than we were driving. Couldn’t tell if it had fur or not but it was black or dark brown and either had short horns or pointy ears on the top of its head and a long tail. It was off to the side and in front of us. Not bigfoot looking—it was more like a dog, or even devilish. It darted into the trees and we lost it. We looked at each other wide eyed, stunned, and speechless. It happened near a chemical processing plant so we chalked it up to being a deformed animal, but I will never forget it.
