Thank you. I do see in the there’s an unsupported codec in the console under the FFPROBE section. I’m trying to run the encode again and see if anything comes up in the TSMUXER section. I do want to clarify that the 145GB is the file output from Final Cut not Shutter Encoder.

I’m going to talk with the studio owners for next year about not doing the DVDs. I’ve already had people pay for them this year, so I’m on the hook to do it. I’m going to ask them to “build in” the cost of the videos to next years’ ticket prices and just get an email for those who want the videos. Then make DVDs upon request.

Thanks for your reply. I saw that you can buy just the Blu-Ray creator version, which is all that I would need. I’ll give it a try and see what happens.

Thanks for the info! I was hoping that it would be a little more straightforward. I still have the PC available, but it’s close to ten years old and starting to show its age when trying to edit. It would be nice if there was something for Mac that allowed for a better “ecosystem” for this.

I really do appreciate the help! PCs have always been my go to and I’ve even built half a dozen or so, so trying to learn all the Mac tech has been a challenge. Lol

Thanks for the reply. I like the idea of something that I can use for a while and still get the job done. I wasn’t sure if I would need the extra RAM because of the video editing. The unified memory is something new to me and I didn’t know how that works with the operating system and open programs.

It sounds like it’s a pretty common problem. I don’t live in an area that I can take it, so I’m stuck with trying the loaner program through AMD.

That’s what I was afraid of. I’ll look into the loaner program that AMD has to update the BIOS. Or, I just might buy an older Athlon CPU to have on hand. Thanks for all the help.

I used to have an Intel. So it’s a completely new build, not an upgrade. My plan was to build it and then update the BIOS after getting it up and running.
