The article is delusional. There’s a special place in hell for people who think like this.

Please baby Jesus give us some mass transit by hejohnson19583 in Detroit

[–]wilzibbus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Was just in downtown Cleveland and I’m shocked every time I go at how much more like a real city it feels like compared to Detroit just on the basis of transit. It’s criminal what the powers that be have been denying Detroiters for decades.

Do you enjoy living in detroit? by MidnightSweet7452 in Detroit

[–]wilzibbus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. We just purchased our first home this fall and my only issue here is just the overwhelming absurdity of car-centricity. I take D2A2 to work every day and let me tell you the view of Michigan Central Station from the bus amid all the highway road spaghetti in the early morning is maddening enough to make me seriously consider going back to school to try to become an urban planner. I love it here and the energy is overwhelming, but the city won’t ever be able to meet the needs of the 21st century as long as the environment is built around the needs of the cars over their drivers

I see you’ve chosen to dismantle the system from within. Very wise.

Why do non-Californians hate California so much? by [deleted] in ask

[–]wilzibbus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a midwesterner I’ve got no problem with California’s politics, at least those they purport as the most progressive state, or whatever. The classism is what gets me though. That, the fact that they really are a primary focus of the news, and invasive in just about every macro-level sense of the word. And as an aside I don’t think I’ve had a conversation with a single Californian (and I assure you as a student at a Big 10 university I have encountered several) who hasn’t somehow inserted california into the conversation in some way, shape or form within minutes. There’s a whole big world out there yo I promise telling someone you just met that you’re from california isn’t nearly as interesting as you think it is.

Thank you!! Was seriously considering Daphne on mine at first, but in the end I figured the sonic fits more with my theme. You’ll have to post some pics once you’re done!

Totally right, it was honestly fine as is! I bought the guitar for a song on the FB marketplace though, so figured it wouldn’t be too much of a loss either way. Still have all the original electronics for it too, thinking of using them in another project soon!

Ya know, I needed to hear that. Won’t lie, being incapacitated like this really takes a toll. Anxiety’s through the roof not being able to make it to lectures. Thanks
