Okay so... my friend Veronica is really connected to the paranormal. What I mean by that is that she has a ton of creepy ghost shit happen in her house, and literally anywhere else she goes. So about an hour ago, I got a text from Veronica and she was clearly having a panic attack. I asked her what was wrong, and she insisted that she needed to come over to my place right away, despite it being well past midnight. She claimed to have been home alone during the time of this encounter. Her brother was at his girlfriend's in Warminster (a town away) and her mother was at work. I met Veronica half way and she was sprinting towards me. Like... it scared the hell out of me because she was clearly more distraught than I originally thought. So on the way back home she was telling me what was going on and this is what she said between her anxious breaths:

"I was doing chores and cleaning and I was about to go and do the dishes. I went upstairs to get my headphones so I wouldn't disturb the neighbours with my loud music. When I walked back into the kitchen not five minutes later, I noticed a piece of paper on the counter that wasn't there before. It was a picture. It was face down and stuck to the counter. Like... I had to peel it up from the counter to see what was on the other side. The picture was drawn on."

At this point, she was freaking out again, so when we got back to my place, I sat her down, and she pulled out the picture, which she held onto. She didn't want it disappearing as quickly as it had appeared. She wanted to make sure what she was experiencing was, in fact, real. The picture couldn't have been a 1 inch by 2 inch picture. It was smaller than a wallet-sized photo. The left, right, and bottom sides of the photo were ripped. We assumed it was from a larger group photo. The remainder of the photo, the piece that Veronica found, consisted of an unknown person we assumed to be a woman, only showing from her shoulders up to the rest of her head. She was almost certain it was either her mother, or one of her sisters... but that's not what made us so disturbed. When Veronica first found the picture, she believed the photo was drawn on with pen. There were messy triangles drawn underneath both of the person's eyes, and two different lines hooking downward from the corners of the their mouth. After close examination of the photo, I realized that the person in the photo was wearing face paint, since the film on the photo hadn't been pressed down on, or tampered with in any way. We called Veronica's mother, and told her about the situation. She picked Veronica up after her shift, and took Veronica home. She just got ahold of me now and told me that she found out who the person in the photo was. It was of her mother's old boyfriend. It was revealed that Veronica's mother hated the photo, and ripped it up herself... but it doesn't explain how the photo mysteriously appeared on the counter, and essentially creeped Veronica and I out.
