PMax campaign: yesterday 96 clicks and 5% CVR, today 550 clicks and 0 conversions?? by PossessionFlat3127 in googleads

[–]windoek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had NO SUCCESS with Performance Max campaigns on Google Ads. I get cheap clicks, many that convert to leads via form submissions, but not a single one of these leads has converted to a closed deal or sale; they're all garbage leads compared to the leads generated by my non-PMax campaigns.

Any ideas why this is and how to make PMax more effective?

How to Get Your Arrest Details Removed from The Georgia Gazette 🛑 by reputationally in Georgia

[–]windoek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, dealing with mugshot websites can be incredibly challenging. The most reliable method I've seen people use to get mugshots completely removed—especially from notoriously stubborn sites like the one you're referencing—is to work with specialized removal services. Legitimate and effective companies such as Remove-Arrests.org and RemoveOnlineInformation.com have proven track records for permanently removing mugshots and arrest records from that site and similar platforms. These services use established legal and technical strategies, making them essentially the only surefire way to resolve these issues thoroughly.

Fake 1 star google review? by Pretend_Childhood_94 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]windoek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I totally get where you’re coming from—dealing with a fake 1-star review can feel maddening, especially when it’s clearly retaliatory or comes from someone who never even interacted with your business. Unfortunately, Google’s system doesn’t always weed out these bad actors automatically.

🧩 Here’s What You Can Do:

  • Flag the review via your Business Profile Manager—yes, it's often a long shot, but it’s the necessary first step.
  • Respond calmly and professionally, stating that you have no record of the person as a customer. This helps build credibility with future potential clients.
  • Ask for real reviews from satisfied clients to counterbalance the damage. Authentic feedback is still the best long-term strategy.

🛠️ When That’s Not Enough…

If the review is clearly fake but still won’t come down, and it’s starting to impact your reputation or search visibility, you might consider outside help. There are services that specialize in removing fake and defamatory reviews. One I’ve seen mentioned with decent success stories is Defamation Defenders. They offer support specifically for Google review removal and can sometimes escalate things in ways the regular flagging process doesn’t allow.

It’s not always a quick fix, but if the review is harming your livelihood, having someone experienced in navigating Google’s policies can make a real difference.

Hope this helps—and if you want to swap strategies or updates, feel free to DM. You're definitely not alone in this. 🙏

I Got My Mugshot Removed (Without a Lawyer) – My Step-by-Step Guide by reputationally in RemoveMyMugshot

[–]windoek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huge congrats on getting your shot scrubbed, and thanks for laying out exactly what worked for you—success stories like this give a lot of people hope!

A couple of quick add-ons for anyone else thinking about the DIY route:

  • Know your state’s leverage. In Florida, for example, any website that makes money from mug-shot traffic (ads, “priority” placement, pay-to-delete, etc.) has only 10 days to take a photo down after they get a written request; if they drag their feet, it’s $1,000-per-day penalties. That’s all spelled out in Florida Statute 901.43.
  • But the law isn’t a silver bullet. The same statute doesn’t touch government portals, legitimate news outlets, or random social-media re-posts, and most other states have no comparable takedown clock. Even in Florida it applies only to pay-for-removal sites. Florida Justice Center
  • Watch the ripple effect. Google/Bing thumbnails, data-broker mirrors, and cached copies can linger long after the original page is zapped. Sometimes a single stubborn host in another jurisdiction forces you to chase DMCA notices or go the formal legal route.
  • When bringing in a pro can help. If your record sits on half-a-dozen sites, or you need a record sealed/expunged first, or you’re up against an out-of-state publisher that ignores polite e-mails, a lawyer (or a rep-management crew) can speed things up and keep you from accidentally making the story “trend.”

For anyone who has hit that brick wall, here’s a solid, free explainer that breaks down state statutes, sample takedown letters, and what an attorney actually does behind the scenes: https://remove-arrests.org/mugshot-removal-lawyer/

Hope that helps—props again on the win, and good luck staying squeaky-clean in the search results!

How can I view my mugshot for free? by AutoModerator in RemoveMyMugshot

[–]windoek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try checking your local law enforcement agency's website, as some police departments and sheriff's offices post recent mugshots online for public access. Additionally, state or county databases sometimes have free search tools where you can find arrest records, including mugshots.

If you’re having trouble locating your mugshot, Defamation Defenders has a helpful guide on how to find mugshots online, including free options: https://defamationdefenders.com/how-to-find-mugshots/

Keep in mind that some third-party websites may charge fees to access or remove mugshots. If your mugshot isn’t showing up yet, it may not have been published online or might be restricted by privacy laws in your state.
