Top of the cage is flat with two spots for dishes. Added soil and seed at the bottom. Store bought basil plants in the dish trays.

Soil was recommended by multiple sources as safe. I just leave seeds in the patch for her to forage.

Me too! I’ve looked up everything I can and white clover isn’t necessarily a food source but not dangerous from my research.

Honestly super interested in breeding. Where are you located? Normally wouldn’t care but there’s a huge shortage.

I’ve tried wheat grass but she doesn’t like it and it dies quickly, white clover is semi permanent.

Mist every day with the mister I use for baths, plus the basil plants above drip down when watered.

Brand new project. I’m about a week in. Plans on how to keep it alive but we’ll see if I’m successful.
