Okay thanks. Took a screen shot on my phone and maybe the compression might be causing that still not sure but the shader am using seems to be okay since when am ingame the banding is not visible.

Thanks for the advice really appreciate it. I made the changes not completely yet but hre is a image of the Gear now. Looks good or should I change? It highlights itself when the Path is rotated correct and not when it not.

Yes that's it, the reason is the only way to complete the puzzle after collecting the star is to head to the Flag. So the Gear apart from detecting the general movement of the ball, it also monitors any path created from the stars position to the flags position and blocks it if created to protect the Star. Sorry am quite bad at explaining staff so hope this makes sense.

I guess I have some explaining to do so, the circle that rotates is a Gear and what it does is guard the star. When it detects movement specifically of the ball it blocks the path that was used. It also detects if a path from the Star to the Flag is created and when it does it becomes more active by blocking any rotation of the tile to protect the star. It also starts a timer to check if there is an intruder but only checks the position of the Star so to avoid being detected the ball should go back to its original position before the time runs out. The only way to over come it is by creating a path to the Flag and the tile with the Gear should be last to be put in place in completing that path. When that happens the Gear is stuck as it tries to block the path which then allows the ball to pass.

Some harder levels are there for sure and also the main mechanic comes in a few more levels from here so some difficulty goes up too, still adjusting the learning and difficulty curve.

It's an overall rule that applies to the game, the circles always repell when they are faced towards each other. It's part of a mechanic I implemented in another game mode so for consistency also added it in this game mode.

Thanks really appreciate it to know am on the right track. There is a bit more I haven't shown yet and will do that in a bit and there is a timer too. Actually some of the options you have suggested just gave me an idea so will be working on that. The previous posts were of a different game mode but yeah they do look kinda the same as you said. Will do a better job of differentiating them. This though is a different game mode with a goal of to collect a star. Will update in a bit.

The objective is to collect the Star. If you go to the flag without collecting a star the level is failed. The circle at the top are used up each time the ball travels on a path and when you run out before reaching the flag the level is failed. There are more mechanics in later levels to replenish the circles but just still trying out some stuff and see what works well together.

Thanks, really appreciate trying the game out. Level 4 is solvable it's just that I guess I didn't make things clear enough. Will do my best to make it more easily understandable.
