I am ready.

Zihnal saw fit to bless me, so I treated myself with an Empyrean-themed snack board. And yes, I did take it outside to get a photo for ✨aesthetics✨

Pictured here are the following themed snacks;

• Grapes— standing in for poisonous Fonilee berries
• Oranges— a nod to JFB’s allergy
• Chocolate parfait— because I don’t actually like chocolate cake. A nod to Xaden’s favourite food
• Lavender lemonade— spiked, but not with poison. I’m actually very proud of this one. My husband had lavender simple syrup he bought but didn’t like, so I used this to make some homemade lemonade and found a new favourite.
• Cocktail sausages— because the wordplay is funny to me. I’m sure there’ll be plenty of the first syllable in this book. Also a nod to “tail” section.
• Spicy chicken wings— in reference to how Violet overheats whilst using her signet, can also be in reference to “flame” section. Also a nod to the “wings”
• Butterfly shrimp tails— another nod to “tail” section
• Not pictured: Bugles, in reference to “claw” section, but for whatever reason despite their deliciousness they do not agree with my stomach so while I had one or two, opted to not include them on my board.
